The Eye Behind the Collection
Every piece in the collection is selected by Ahsan, whose family has been at the centre of Pakistan's weaving trade for generations. He knows the workshops, the weavers, and the difference between a good rug and an exceptional one.
We bring that judgement to Ireland. Nothing enters the collection that has not been chosen by hand.
The Craft
Wool
Wool is hand-spun before it is ever woven, carrying natural lanolin that resists stains and softens with use rather than wearing thin.
Colour
Colour comes from vegetable dye where the piece calls for it, and from the wool's own natural tone where it doesn't. Both age the same way, deepening rather than fading.
Time
A single piece takes three to six months on the loom. Every knot and every line of pattern is a decision made by hand, not a setting on a machine.
